Well Would Ya Look at That?

Here we are, again. Monday. January 16. Day 1 of the Lurong Resolution Challenge. Weigh in and initial measurements.

I stepped on to the scale and looked down. Crap. Coach came to look at the number and it was a half pound higher than when I just looked. What the...? How the heck did that happen? Is that how fast I've been gaining weight lately? Judging by the scale, I'd say "yes"!

Our benchmark WOD for the challenge is tomorrow. I looked at it and I swear, it looks like some nightmare from the Open. I was all excited to level up this year, but, there are a few things in that WOD that I don't do yet. So far, I'm not feeling so warm and fuzzy about this whole thing. Then, I look at my bullet journal goals sheet, take a deep breath, and keep truckin'.

So, a little special thing I did for the challenge last year (to help me cope with my "woes") was, I brought in silverware and a place setting from home to eat my breakfast and my lunch. I would have a nice breakfast, wash up my items, then repeat for lunch. It really helped me feel like I was eating comfort food since it was on my fave dishes and such. May seem silly, but, it has a deep psychological effect on me. Note to self: Bring dishes tomorrow. I mean, you already carry 4 bags, why not a 5th? :)
